{ Thirsty Thursday } Ole Smokey’s Back Country Lemonade

There are certain days, I love making a complicated cocktail. You know, a drink that needs multiple grocery and liquor store runs. A drink that takes hours to assemble, waiting for the freshly boiled simply syrup to cool. A drink that takes days waiting for the vodka to infuse. Then there are other days I am just plain lazy, and the idea of a complicated cocktail can bring me nearly to tears. Thankfully for me, when laziness strikes I have this Ole Smokey’s Back Country Lemonade recipe in my back pocket.

The Goods:

3 ounces of Ole smoky apple pie moonshine

Soda Water

Juice of ½ a lime

Simply Lemonade with Raspberry

Ice

Directions:

Place ice in cup. Add the 3 ounces of Ole Smokey Apple Pie Moonshine and the juice of 1/3 of a lime. Fill the glass with equal parts lemonade and Soda water. Stir, and garnish with a lime wedge.

So dangerously subtle, you won’t even know it has moonshine in it. Add a Mason glass and a fun straw and it’s a perfect drink for a summer BBQ.

Cheers
