Wedding season is upon us and after walking a mile in the Bride’s extremely uncomfortable Jimmy Choo’s my eyes have been opened to what you should … and shouldn’t wear as a guest. I get it, as a guest shopping for the perfect dress to wear to a friends’ magical day can make for a daunting task. The search for a dress that makes you feel like a million bucks, but doesn’t draw too much attention to you as the guest can seem almost impossible. Well let me let you in on a little secret, as Brides, we want you to look good. Yes, there I said it, it isn’t always about us, okay well maybe it is still about us a little bit . One of my favorite moments pre ceremony, was seeing my dear girlfriends trickle through my bridal suite dressed to the 9’s. I loved it! They looked fabulous and I knew all of the reception photos would be stunning… see what I did there… told you it’s always about the Bride.
Being on the other side of the veil now, I have rounded up a few dresses that I am dying to slip into this wedding season!
Dreaming of this Tadashi Shoji gown for a black tie, evening event.
I just adore this maxi ! It is absolute perfection for an outdoor ceremony and how can you not be obsessed over the teal and gold combo?
These cocktail dresses, I physically couldn’t pick one if I had to. The Elizabeth and Jane is such a classic piece I am dying to add to my closet! Where as the Karmen Sheath Mini Dress‘ pattern has me wishing I was dancing the night away under the warm summer sky.
